A fantastic venue. Starting to show its age a little bit - I guess the time of year doesnt help. Its great for people of all ages. In brexit times, its great to see their shop is doing well - always worth a browse they have some fantastic gifts for all. Its also advised to drop a donation the staff are always helpful and friendly and some of the art piece exhibits are truly inspiring, some less so! Tip: avoid the elevators (lifts were English!!) walk those stairs and keep your heart rate up and enjoy the views!

Great space for those who love contemporary art! Beautiful, minimalist building with lots of space for changing exhibitions and plenty of gift shop options with brilliant artsy items.

If you like art and art history this is for you. Very honoured to have such a place pretty much on our doorstep. Very very appreciative of the staff and the management who clearly obtain some wonderful pieces for their museum

The view may be better when weather adds a little more vibe to it. I enjoyed going there on a family day, had some fun things with LEDs to put your hands on, was able to get some nice pictures in the museum, but I mean it depends on the arts shown there if you can do it and if you like it in general. Definitely boring for people with no interest in contemporary art or for children.

Contemporary art in a spectacular historic building, on a par with the Tate Modern in London. When we visited, we were surprised and delighted to be offered a "behind the scenes" tour, which took us via service routes to the viewing gallery, offices and workshops hidden within the building. Also contains a library, education/play space for kids, coffee shop, restaurant, and the inevitable gift shop. And the side of the building is the world's most inland nesting site for kittiwakes!
