We have just got home from a fabulous meal. I never clear my plate, but I certainly did tonight. Staff were lovely too. We'll be back .
A beautiful venue for wedding receptions etc, Staff were friendly, and the interior immaculate. Would recommend without doubt to anyone needing a reception for wedding / funeral .
What a gorgeous afternoon. Staff, food, ambiance all fantastic. Highly recommend the Christmas pudding! Delicious. The port and mince pies finished it off amazingly. Will definitely be back.
Enjoyed a very pleasant large family gathering for a birthday celebration meal back in August. We had a private room and were able to walk around the grounds for photos afterwards. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in keeping with the original stately home. The food and service were excellent. Several special diets were catered for with no problems at all.
What a beautiful place! The hotel is stunning, with stylish decor throughout. The rooms are spacious and clean. The building stands in quiet grounds with a leafy garden surrounding it. The staff are lovely and helpful, an utter delight. The bar and restaurant both excellent, with reasonable prices. My only problem., which is why I took one star off, was that there was only one vegetarian main dish, and it contained no protein so I had to ask for some extra mushrooms. My request was satisfied and the meal beautiful, but it is still a bit disappointing. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel and I am sure to return at some point.
