The Silver Screen is a bit of a con. The price is fantastic at 3 each but the movies are old rubbish. Why not show first runs and actually give Seniors a true bargain???
The gallery is the best way to go and see a new movie release here at odeon Metrocentre. It's costs a bit more than the normal seating, but being waited is why you pay extra. It is really good and you are made aware when your movie is about to start.
Good small cinema screens. Only bad thing is when you book online the seats aren't clearly labelled online as we booked right at the back and when we sat in our seats the staff moved us and said they're gallery seats that weren't shown online.
We come to this cinema all the time, have done for a few years now. Always friendly staff and always good service. Bit expensive but worth it as it's on the doorstep. I just wish there was a bit more attention given to the cameras in the screens to watch for people on phones, people talking and sneaking into movies half way through. All of these things have happened the last 3 times we have been and it seems to be getting worse. Just wish it could be stamped out as it ruins a good time with your partner sometimes.
Convenient cinema in the Metro Centre so it is extremely easy to get parked for free. Lots of cinema screens means there is always the latest films out and a great choice. Good value for money and better screens than other cinemas. Also accepts the meerkat cinema 2-4-1 on Tues/Weds which is a great deal.
