Excellent work carried out by dedicated volunteers. A credit to the village community.
Historically significant site. Check the opening times before travelling. A tour with one of the enthusiastic volunteer guides was a pleasure for adults and children. Certainly not a shiny tourist attraction but really exudes industrial atmosphere and a working and historical site. Will be even better once rope working begins again.
There for a visit to the 40s day. Very sizable and a nice walking layout. Cannot attest to much else than what we saw, but it seems a good place to visit.
