I have used this company twice once to replace my house roof and most recently to re cover my garage roof. I was happy on both occasions with the service provided. Rob and his team were friendly and professional in there approach. With regard to price Its possible you could get a cheaper price but I believe you get what you pay for and because of my first experience with C Grant Roofing I didnt bother looking. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Unfortunately, I had a really bad experience with C Grant Roofing. They came round to fix a slate that had a hole in and to clear out the guttering. I also asked them to put a cowl on the chimney and do some work on the hip joints. The guys spent a total of 15 minutes on the roof; didn't even go into the loft to check the underside of the roof. They said they couldn't fit a cowl as they didn't bring the right one along - bit annoying. They also said they couldn't sort the hip joints as the roof needed replacing at an extortionate cost of 7,000, when I received quotes from other companies that this would be more in the region of 5,000. I've since had two other roofing companies check the status of the roof and neither think it needs replacing - just repairing, which is what I had got C Grant to do in the first place! I was then sent an invoice for 100 including work that the guys hadn't managed to do e.g. clearing guttering. I asked what exactly the invoice included, and it turns out the administrator had made an "error" and included work that hadn't been done, so sent a new invoice for 80. I then went to go check the roof tiles from the loft and - lo and behold - the slate with the hole in still had a hole in! So I have no idea what exactly they were doing up on the roof for those 15 mins but it wasn't what I asked them to do! I sent them an angry email asking what exactly they were invoicing me for, and got a call from their administrator saying there had been further "errors"/miscommunication, and decided not to charge me. Too right - I'm not paying for a service that wasn't delivered! Absolute cowboys.
