Unhelpful staff. Food not of a good standard. Will not be returning or recommending

No warm welcome, in fact miserable staff - as though it was a problem having customers, even though only 2 tables used. Food brought quite promptly and was acceptable. Requested cold water to cool a babys bottle which was warm so had to return to counter and ask for cold water - again staff not happy. Later asked for small amount of boiled water to soak cotton wool to use on babys eye - to be disguarded after soaked and used once due to cross infection as anyone would realise. Approached and asked for water back as staff member been told off for giving you this in a cup. Therefore no hot water. Owner came much later - explained health and hygiene/trading standards laws so couldnt give in a cup. Actually I say explained - it was more a telling off/talked down to us/big attitude problem which I have encountered on numerous occasions before. Customer service/attitude very poor - management more interested in talking new colours to another client rather than addressing us first rather than her member of staff. Put up with bad attitude many times and will grace Marks and Spencers or Mothercare in future fir friendly service and attitude to customers.

My friend has had poor customer service when trying to have an afternoon tea at the coffee shop..with a Groupon voucher. At the third attempt date and time was in the shops diary but on arrival on Satirday 10th November we were not expected ..no one seems to know what is happening. The lady on Saturday did her best and did apologise and gave us an afternoon tea of sort sadly no cream no cake just tray bake....my friend has personally gone to speak to manager today there was no real genuine apology or compensation offered not even a complimentary drink .All the faults which seem complex need addressing as a party of 4 with a young granddaughter were very disappointed will not be recommending

Just enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea here for my friends birthday. Don't be put off the location of this place is in the middle of a trading estate (Team Valley Trading Estate) or that it's inside a huge crafts wholesaler called Country Baskets because it's well worth a look round. We had a good variety of sandwiches scones and cakes to choose from and the coffee shop is nice n cosy decorated. Staff are pleasent. We ordered one of our drinks as a hot chocolate which was not included but only charged 1 extra for it and it was lovely. The deal includes tea or coffee but can include cappuccino or latte if you want which is good . Nor everywhere gives this option. So definately recommended.

Friendly staff and the food was very tasty.
