Fantastic vets. Lovely front office staff. The only disgruntlement I had was I was given the wrong information when I called for an emergency appointment . I was instructed that the consultation fee for my bird was 58 plus treatment costs when in fact it was almost 72 plus treatment costs. It cost me almost 115 for a quick look at my budgie and a thimble full of anti biotic liquid . However the vets and staff are doing an amazing job and my bird is clearly on the mend which is what really matters .
If i could give less than a 1 star review i would. My poor dog Tilly died on Tuesday this week. We made the decision as a family to have her cremated and informed the staff on Tuesday and even stated that we knew what urn we required. We made the decision quickly as we were told that the pick ups were on Wednesday and Friday each week and we wanted to have Tilly put to rest as soon as we could. We were told to ring Durham crematorium the next day which we did and we were advised that this would have been Vets Nows responsibility. We were disappointed as they only complete pick ups on Wednesday and Friday but we were reassured that this issue would be resolved ready for Fridays collection after speaking to Vets Now. We didn't hear anything on Thursday when we were promised so we called up to discover that there had been no notes left on the system and that someone would dedicate their time to ensure that this was resolved and that when the Friday pick up came along Tilly would be included in this. We have now called up the crematorium who have explained that our Tilly was not included as the relevant paperwork had not been filled in. The amount of heartache and stress that Vets Now have placed on me and my family is not fair when already going through one of the hardest times in our lives. Their sheer incompetence is absolutely disgraceful and i would recommend that if you love your pet you avoid this place like the plague.
The compassion the vet and nurses showed us was so sincere upon the loss of our beloved dog. Wonderful people
Thank you for allowing me to transfer my Nico to your practise from sheriff hill. I had to do everything I could for him and yous allowed me to do that.unfortunately I had to let Nico go as he wasn't improving and was very poorly.the hardest desicion I had to make in my life I miss him so much.just want to thank you all for accepting him and giving me his paw print and some fur xxx
Used these a few times now for our cat molly. Always very caring and understanding. Vets are reasonably priced with a caring and diligent attitude to customers and pets.
